Itinerary
Days	Route
01	Kathmandu (1300 m.) – Zhangmu 2500 m. or Nyalam (3700 m. ): 156 km. Early morning scenic drive to Kodari (Nepal – Tibet border) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary border formalities at Nepalese immigration, drive up hill with a truck to Zhangmu or 2 hour walk uphill in case of landslide to Chinese immigration at Zhangmu. Chenk – in to hotel or continue driving to Nyalam and over night at a Guest House.
02	Zhangmu/Nyalam- Tingri (4300 m./ Lhatsee (4350 m.): 244 km. Drive uphill to the highest plateau of the world with the typical view of Tibetan landscape offering sheer feeling of standing on the roof of the world crossing over Nyalamu pass (3800 m., and Lalung La (5050 m.) weather permitting breathing panorana of the beautiful Himalayan ranges including Mt. Everest (8848 m.) but dwarfed by the vastness of the Tibetan plateau. Over night at hotel.
03	Tingri/Lhatsee- Xigatse (3900 m.): 244 km. Continue scenic drive crossing over Gyatchu La (5220 m.) the highest pass en route to Lhasa via Lhatse from where a road to Mt. Kailash bifurcates to the west and over night at Hotel.
04	Xigatse- Gyantse (3950 m.) 90 km. Morning Sight seeing to the Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery and Market in Xigatse. Drive to Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monastery. Over night at hotel.
05	Gyantse – Lhasa (3650 m.) 261 km. A full day picturesque drive crossing over Karo La (5010 m.), Kamba La (4794 m.), colorful Yamdrok Lake and Tibetan lifeline river Bramhaputra (Yarlung Tsangpo). Over night at hotel.
06/07	In Lhasa Two full days sightseeing tour to Lhasa including Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazar, Potala Palace, Drepung & Sera Monasteries & Norbulinkha. Over night at hotel.
08	Lhasa – Kahtmandu Early morning drive to Gongaar airport for departure and an hour of breathtaking Trans-Himalayan Flight over the highest ranges of the world to kathmandu, transfer to Hotel & Rest.

Twin sharing room with breakfast in hotel, all transfers, sight seeing entry fees, Tibetan English speaking guide.
